Iowa’s businesses will need access to a low-cost, clean energy future to be competitive.
Unfortunately, Iowa’s decades-old approach to managing the grid is not designed for the grid of the future. The current approach fails to ensure access to a low-cost, clean energy grid.
Iowa Business for Clean Energy is hosting a Reform the Grid Workshop to start the discussion on modernizing Iowa’s approach to regulating our electric market. We have three nationally renowned experts presenting, Neil Chatterjee, former chair of the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission, Ryan Katofsky, Managing Director of the Advanced Energy Economy, and Doug Scott, with the Great Plains Institute, to discuss strategies on how Iowa can reform its grid for the future.
