What We Do

Our energy competitiveness is too important: Iowa’s business leaders need to understand how the state’s energy policies impact their bottom line - and importantly - what policies in the future can improve Iowa’s energy competitiveness. The right statutory and regulatory environment can ensure Iowa’s businesses will be able to access the cleanest energy at a competitive price! It will ensure - a brighter future forward.

How will we go about doing so?

First. We are developing a statewide network of professionals that can be updated, in layperson terms,with what is happening on energy policy in Iowa and how it might impact Iowa’s businesses in the future.

Second. We plan to host ongoing community meetings with business leaders throughout Iowa to raise awareness and educate how changes made to energy policy can provide a more competitive energy environment in Iowa.

Third. We will foster dialogue to encourage improved policies for the state - to stimulate greater clean energy adoption and increased energy efficiency - to produce the most competitive, least bureaucratic energy environment for Iowa’s businesses.
